Where does Eclipse save .java files for projects that are not in my workspace? Basically, I downloaded a project from a friend, and imported that project to Eclipse. I edited and created new packages and files in the project. Then, I exported the project and uploaded it to a file sharing website. A couple days later, (my computer had restarted since then), I reopened Eclipse. My files weren't there, so I tried looking for them on my computer and couldn't find anything. I went back to the website I had uploaded the files too, and all the files were completely blank.
I was thinking that the issue may have been the fact that Eclipse saves files into the project folder within the workspace. However, since the project came from my friend, that project didn't exist in MY workspace. If this is the case, then where was Eclipse storing those files whenever I saved them? Was it some sort of local memory within the Eclipse program that just gets erased when I restart my computer? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Eclipse uses the normal file system. But if you used the import wizard Existing Projects into Workspcace without the option Copy projects into workspace or the Projects from Folder or Archive import wizard, then the folder to import was referenced and not copied. Maybe you have then deleted the supposedly copied folder. In this case, Eclipse would display a closed project folder. You can right-click the closed project folder and choose Properties: in Resource the now deleted directory is displayed as Location.
To (at least partially) restore the files you edited:

How to MOD Undertale! From Music to Sprites! The Complete Guide and ToC!
Heya guys, Science here with a tutorial on how to mod Undertale in such a way as [My Snowdin at Night Mod] which I still plan to continue, I'm just too lazy at the moment to do so.
What you need:
General PC Knowledge
WinRAR or 7zip, etc
Translatale (Download provided)
Paint.net (Download provided and recommended)
UTFonts (A hard part of the tutorial made easy with the download provided here)
Multiple copies of Data.win JUST TO BE SAFE. If you do NOT make copies of Undertale/data.win and it gets corrupted, I will NOT be held responsible.
Alright! First things first, we will need to locate Undertale.exe on Windows! If you are on mac, I am sorry as I am unable to help ya. If you bought the game on steam, goto C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Undertale
After you've found it, we right click on it and press extract OR we can drag the exe to our extractor program icon. Once you have it extracted, a folder will appear named Undertale! For convenience, move it to your Desktop.
Once in, you want to make backups/copies of the file named data.win cuz if ya game gets corrupted, you'll have to get a new copy. It is also required to delete steam_api.dll in order for our mods to work.
Also make sure you download the files I have provided. That's translatale, UTFonts, and Paint.net. Translatale is NEEDED for modding Undertale. The UTFonts is so you can avoid downloading Gamemaker Studio. Trust me, If I hadn't included this, it would have been a pain. make sure to put UTFonts in your Undertale File or desktop. Paint.Net is needed, I.. think? It's the only paint program I use for modding as MSPaint does not work with the sprite pages. So yes, make sure ya get Paint.net, again, it's on the downloads above.
IT'S VERY IMPORTANT YOU GET THESE DOWNLOADED.
When you are done backin' up your files, unzip Translatale and run it!
Once it's up and runnin', locate tools and select dump images. It will ask you to find data.win, so all you gotta do is goto your desktop/UNDERTALE via file explorer and double click on it.
Next, it asks where do you want to keep these sprite pages, I recommend you put an empty folder into the Undertale folder for convenience but you can dump them into an empty folder on the desktop as well.
It works the same for the strings.txt, again, I recommend you put it in the UNDERTALE folder for convenience.
Now, navigate to the folder you dumped the sprite pages.
There you will find ALL the sprites found in Undertale including bullet attacks, test npcs, and sometimes just plain weird stuff. Whatcha wanna do is open a sprite page in paint.net. You do that by right clicking the sprite page and press Open with > Paint.net.
I am going to use sprite page 10 for example. Once you're in, you can use a pencil, paintbrush, anything you want on these sprites to edit them. For example:
Hahahaha, cool right!? Okay! Now you need to click Save As and save the picture as 10 as a PNG type file! Press okay to everything.
Time for the strings.txt!
Modding the strings.txt is actually very simple, open it in notepad, find the text you are looking for and edit it to your liking, save over it.
Finale! Time for the last part! Okay, now ya need to go back to translatale and select Glyph/project repack!
Now, it will give ya a warning to back up your files which I do recommend. It will also tell you to download GameMaker:Studio.
IGNORE THAT AND PRESS NEXT!
Now, it will ask you to download some fonts before you can move on. You need to download them for the mods to work so, download them and install them. If you dont know how to install them, navigate to downloads, navigate to the .ttf file and double click it. A window will pop up and at the top, press install. Got it? Unfortunatly, I only have 4G on the phone and I cant download a font on my PC for example. Once that's done, you will be asked to download the UTFonts Gamemaker project, don't download that as it is already finished and done for ya.
Press next again and the 'Path Config' will ask you to navigate and select these files. If you had put them all in the Undertale folder, this will be so much easier! Find all of them and press import!
Undertale Undyne The Undying Save File
Now, a prompt asking you to Save As will ask you where to save it and what to name it. Name it 'data' and save it directly into your Undertale Folder. I hope you made backups just in case! There will be a bunch of code popping out, but don't worry that's just the program doin' its thing.
Just wait a moment and viola! You have modded Undertale! Let's see if it worked for us!
Run Undertale via the .exe in the Undertale Folder.
SUCCESS B*TCHES, ehm, excuse me.. Haha! Success my friends! Now, enjoy modding your game how ever you'd like! Also, always make sure to have a back up ready and raring to go in case something goes wrong okay?
Tip: If you are going to mod an overworld sprite, make sure you do it to all of them or else it will be flashing with the old sprite and the new sprite when they do certain movements.
As always guys, stay sciency!
Also, check out some other modding and/or hacking tutorials and my personal mod WIP!
(Which I really need to work on........ eh, procrastination wins.)

Temmie Village[edit]
Once you've lit up all the mushrooms in the dark section in Waterfall, head on the southern path to find Temmie Village.
This is home to the temmies and also the best shop in the game as it's the only one where you can sell anything. You can purchase items from the Turtle shop in Waterfall and walk them here for a profit, or you can sell Dog residue infinitely to the Temmie. When selling items to Temmie, if she seems to really like it say no to get a higher price.
Better yet you can also buy the best armour in the game here. You'll need a decent amount of gold, and you'll have to choose to 'tem pay 4 colleg'. She'll go to 'colleg' and immediately return saying she knows how to make new Temmie Armor.
The Armor's price will vary depending on how many times you've died, so if it's too pricy, get out there and die some more.
Hacking[edit]
Undertale's code is quite easy to get into and mess around with (on PC) for simple things like If you want to give yourself extra gold.
That being said be very careful as messing with the wrong things can ruin your game files.
Take note of how much money you have in game then close Undertale.
To do so go to your start menu and choose 'RUN' now enter '%localappdata%'. Then find Undertale and open File 0 in notepad.
To make changes to your money amount go to the 11th line down (it should currently be a number that is your money in the game)change it to be however many gold you wish you had.
Hard Mode[edit]
When you start the game you're asked to pick a name, some names aren't allowed and others will make jokes but if you choose Frisk, you will unlock hard mode.
This mode only takes place in the ruins and will replace all the enemies in the ruins with those from later in the game. During the end battle with Toriel you'll be interrupted by a dog and the game will end.
Sans Room[edit]
Wonder how to get into San's room? Well here's how.
After this, you can visit San's room back in Snowdin to get more snippets of lore.
You can also go around the back of his house to find his secret lab with more pieces of info about San's history.
Cave Room in Snowdin
SnowdinWondered what the door which is in that cave in Snowdin? Well follow the steps below to find out.
Then go back to Snowdin to the mysterous door. Here is a 'developer' room with some in jokes about the games' development. If you do this before fighting Papyrus you can fight Glyde, a mysterious monster by walking around inside this room. There's no real benefit to this.
So Sorry
